ex. of kluge in human body - backward retina(망막에 상이 거꾸로 맺히는 거), a spine
**Human brain is composed of mainly 3 parts:
hindbrain, midbrain, forebrain
*hindbrain - the eldest brain, dating back to half a million years.
related to instinctive activities such as balancing, respiratoral activity
*midbrain - developed after hindbrain
related to coordination of visual and auditory reflexes. Controls functions such as eye movements
*forebrain - newest brain, sits on top of both hindbrain and midbrain
related to the most complex and advanaced functions such as language related activities and decision making
however, activities related to each brain do not soley function on their behalf, but rather cooperatively with other areas as well - ex. fore+hind.
*brain = historically remodeled cultural heritage site.
since nature has limitations on evolution. Such limitations rise from the fact that they are based on exisiting elements. Ex. Human spine is evolved from 4-legged mammals, where why it's doees not have more efficient supportive column structure, but rather a singular straight line.
We can realize that evolution is climbing to the top of the mountain but not being able to reach the absolute zenith.
Nature does its best job but not necessarily the best on the global aspect. Like a tinkerer
*chimpanzee and human dna difference: 1.5%
voca
